The file 'Fallen Order Lightsaber Builder 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 2.8MB.
This whole "current situation" has me very bored.
With that said, I present to you, every single lightsaber piece from the builder in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. These pieces are made with a 1/2 inch hole in the center for a dowel to connect them. It's my first time making something like this, so I'm not sure I've gotten tolerances exactly right, but when I finally get back and start printing parts, I'll probably update if anything needs changing.
Parts are NOT designed with electronics and blades in mind. It is strictly for display or belt wear on a costume. Maybe eventually I'll get around to making electronic compatible versions. I also strictly stayed with the parts available in game, (plus a few extra parts I found rummaging through the games assets) so there are no pommels to cap a single bladed lightsaber have made compatible pommels for most of the sets (see Update 1 for details) to support single sabers.
TO DO:
-Add Pommels for Named Sabers
-Add Savi Compatible versions of Named Sabers
-Fix my printer and test compatibility
UPDATE #1 (6/15/2020)
I recently realized that the parts in-game that don't correspond to named characters (Tapal, Magus, etc) are the parts from Savi's workshop. That probably took way longer than it should have. With that said, I've made this a remix of a set of parts by schmots that are Savi compatible, which means their parts can be put over a chassis with electronics. Check out their work if that's what you're looking for.
As for updates to my files, I've done 2 things. First, I've taken schmots' pommel models for the Savi parts and replaced the threads with 1/2 inch holes for dowels. You can now make a single bladed lightsaber right from here. Second, I've updated the switch files for the Savi parts to be constructed like they are at the workshop. Now there is only one switch file for each of them and you'll need to print an extra Sleeve to go between your switch and emitter. I haven't added pommels for the Main Characters' or the DLC's sabers, nor have I made a Savi-like version of their switches like I've done for the other sabers.
UPDATE #2 (2/24/2021)
Man, did I forget this was a thing I was working on. Well, it's only been, what ... 8 MONTHS? I thought I did this, like, a few weeks ago. Jeez.
Anyways, a comment has reminded me that I had deemed the alternate Cere sleeve file "too boring" to warrant uploading. However, the Cere switch may be incompatible with the usual sleeve, since the game model doesn't have to worry about collisions. Thus, I've reuploaded the old Cere sleeve as Cere_Sleeve_2.stl (Yeah, the normal one is 2 in the game files, what of it?) and added Cere_Sleeve_1.stl, which is just a cylinder.
I swear, I really need to fix my printer so I can actually test these. Or probably just replace it, at this point. It is kinda trash.
UPDATE #3 (02/09/2024)
Oh man it's been a while. Thank you for all the wonderful makes and comments, it really means a lot to me to see people using my print files.
A few people have asked if I can do the same thing I did for Fallen Order for the new game, Jedi: Survivor. And, long story short, yes I can! I finally cracked down and bought Survivor. Unfortunately, the PC build still sucks. Nearly a year later and it still runs at like 10 FPS with random crashes on my pretty good PC, which is effectively unplayable.
Fortunately, it doesn't have to be playable for the files to be rip-able! I'm currently sorting through the files to find all the lightsaber parts, and I'm working on getting them into Blender and converted into printable form.
Of course, the situation has changed since early 2020. I'm no longer stuck in a basement for months on end with nothing else going on. I won't be able to work as fast as I did for the first batch of parts. With that said, expect the next update within the next month or two.
UPDATE #4 (07/28/2024)
So it's been more than "a month or two" and I got busy with school and life and all that. However, I haven't been entirely idle! Just mostly idle!
In addition to the struggles of everyday life, Jedi: Survivor itself has been unkind to my efforts to rip the lightsaber files. I can get into the game files using Umodel as I did with Fallen Order, but I've been having trouble finding the files used to build the actual lightsabers. I've found some whole, cutscene models for named characters, but nothing resembling the builder files I found in FO. I'm still looking for them, but at this point, if I ever find them, I'm gonna make a new project for them instead of updating this one. So expect the next update, whenever it happens, to just be me adding a link to the Survivor parts! I'm also removing the WIP status from this, it's been 3 years since I actually changed any of the files, and there haven't been any issues so I think I'm safe to do this.
