The file 'Falcon Prosthetic Mouser Adapter 3D Printer Model' is (SLDASM,STL) file type, size is 76.5KB.
This is designed for use with the Prosthetic Hand universal attachment octagonal bolt. The original model was hot glued together, attaching the mouse component to the bolt. It is intended to be used by rotating of the prosthetic in order to click the desired button, and is designed with the intention of being able to move the mouse in the desired direction fairly well.
It is manufactured using PLA filament with a 1.75mm diameter, but any scale should be able to be used. My goal was to give those who no longer have a hand to control a computer with, the opportunity to do just that. I wanted to give the chance for someone to be able to effectively control one of the most advanced and widespread technologies in the market today.
Version 2.0 could be improved by making the mouse shape more contoured to the mouse. However, due to the wide variability in mice due to different manufacturers, this could prove difficult.
