A small (50mm 40mm 6mm assembled) steampunk-ish wall safe/vault door that I designed a few years ago as a present for someone to install in their dollhouse, to help them hide their dark secrets away from prying eyes. I have printed it, but don't have one to photograph, nor have I used it myself.
It consists of two printed parts, the Frame and the Door, and requires a piece of 1.75mm filament of about 35mm in length to hold together the hinge. The example_hinge_rod file is just to show the length and diameter of this piece of filament, and you probably will not need that file for anything.
In use, the door swings open about the hinge away from the frame. There is no mechanism to hold the door closed, nor are there holes or hooks designed in this piece to hold the frame onto anything. You may wish to modify the design, or use glue.
