The file 'Fairy Skeleton 3D Printer Model' is (stl, pdf) file type, size is 29.8MB.
Designed for SLA resin printing.
Includes PDF of some wings - I printed mine on a transparency with a simple inkjet printer, and used a varnish rattlecan spray to make the ink a little less fragile.
Feel free to design wings of your own, or use real scans of butterfly/moth wings!
The skeleton can be glued to the wings, then rolled up to fit within the chrysalis. The chrysalis has hanging loops to make a nice decoration, pendant or keychain (though it is a bit fragile). You can pin the skeleton up separately like a dried specimen, or embed in a little moss display (see image).
Included are also 'bat' skeletons, with the wings also a bone structure, though these are a more challenging print.
Although I hadn't see ValravenFR's work before, go check out their version, it is awesome too.
Thanks!
