Summary

PROTOTYPE STAGE
03/07-19 Untested
04/07-19 I took 5mm off the wheels diameter to better fit my printer. Added a "half" version" and made the full part printable without support (145 v2) (I hope)
06/07-19 Added a handle/cutout and some tabs between the parts 145 V3

We often use big heavy rolls of fabric at work. These rollers are supposed to make it easier to unroll and re-roll that fabric. In the rendering the mock-up is 400mm in diameter.

The wheels are made to accept 608 bearings (4 pr. set). (contact me or comment if you have suggestions for other common bearings).
The shafts/axles should be around 155mm of length with a diameter of 8mm (153mm to get 13 cuts out of 2000mm stock).
(Right now the idea is to either drill holes for pins or thread the ends).
Threaded M8 rods should work too. But I don't know how it will interact with the inner surface of the bearing. Maybe a smaller threaded rod and then sleeves could work too.

For heavy rolls like the ones we are using I'd recommend printing 3 sets, maybe even 4.
