I kept getting bothered that extruder dissasembly was really difficult with all of the cables getting in the way. So I set on a mission to design a system that would convert pretty much any direct drive extruder to be modular as in a sense that you don't have to fish out the cables out of the printer.
Use M3 threaded inserts (Short and standard are used here, but if you have only short ones it should be fine). Intended to be used with my stepper mounting system
