Heyho :)
This is part 1/3 of my DIY Canvas project.
Part 2/3: Canvas Tensioner
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6438871
To make my projector screen as stable and "childproof" as possible, I stretched it onto a plywood panel (10 mm). I designed and printed various clamping and holding elements for this.
Of course, this wall mount also works with other projects and impresses with its simple assembly and special stability.
Stability:
All parts are printed in such a way that even a weaker layer adhesion can be compensated.
Use PETG or other tough material to get a long lasting and durable holder! (PLA could deofrm over time)
Assembly:
Up to 3 x M5 screws can be fixed in the wall for each large part.
I have provided holes for up to 10 x M4 screws for the two other halves. (There are 2 Halves to get clean and strong prints without supports! Also you can adapt the tolerances a little later on).
If you can use longer screws, you don't necessarily need to use all the holes. However, I only had M4 x 10 screws available for my thin wooden panel. However, the main force is absorbed by the fact that the bracket was attached under a wooden strip and the screws therefore hardly have to absorb any more force.
It is up to you whether you want to use 1 bracket, 2 brackets or even more. One bracket would have been enough for my project. However, to make it extra childproof, I attached two brackets.
The installation itself should be self-explanatory. If not, please let me know in the comments!
