The file 'Expandable Rotating Ball Maze 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 1.7MB.
The concept for this rotating ball maze came to me one day when I was designing some fun objects for visually impaired people to play with.
By rotating each layer, the holes will align one layer at at time for the ball to go through. There's no way to 'see' which layer the ball is in, so people can only rely on the sound of the ball rolling inside the maze. Both ends of the maze are like cages that have holes small enough to contain the ball inside, but big enough for visually impaired people to feel the ball rolling around.
As a toy, the goal will be to get the ball from one end to the other end by blindly aligning the layers so the ball can go through.
This design hasn't been 3D printed and tested yet, but I hope I have made the connectors with the right tolerance so they fit well.
