I recently started a modular synthesizer. Started with some modules from Doepfer, but I soon wanted more. It is modular, so I decided to build some modules myself. Some good ideas can be found on the Doepfer DIY (http://www.doepfer.de/DIY/a100_diy.htm). I started with some simple passive modules, a multiple, an OR gate and an AND gate. I ended with a Slew limiter and an Arduino Uno controlled module! The Arduino module is a VCO / Clock Divider / program it yourself. See it soon on my blog at jh-interact.blogspot.nl !
