This fits better to bare/naked RJ45 connectors/plugs that do not have any cable protector on the back. The original had about 5mms which allow the plug to slip out, probably enough to cause unstable connection when pins loose contact.
I just wanted to be on the safe side and made a shorter one. If the shortest one seems too tight you can use the one with about 1mm neck left to allow some space in the back.
Note: As with the original, you need to remove what is left from the original clip, otherwise with this on top it could be too difficult to plug it in. I removed all of the base of the clip the top was flat, but I guess you can leave some small amount depending on your ports.
