Summary

This is my take on a WDT that has a cap to cover it in for safety or travel. I have a toddler that gets into everything, so the wife mandated that I can't leave a bare WDT out on the counters...hence my custom snapping cap concept.

The cap doubles as a nice grip to hold onto when in the reverse position, then remove flip the WDT, and put the cap on the other side to cover up all the needles.

For the needles, I just used some spring steel that's 0.50mm diameter and used needle nose pliers to push it into the small needle holes on the Plug part. It's a friction fit, so the "needles" won't come out.

Printed in ABS only because that's the material I had on hand. PLA will work great as well. Supports only needed on the Plug piece. Minimal to no post-processing needed, also a tiny bit of sanding or lubrication on the male annular snap on the Plug will help smooth out assembly.

I printed in 0.1mm resolution because I wanted it as clean as possible...but 99% certain it will work great at 0.2mm resolution as well.
