Summary

This is my attempt at creating an enclosed box for the ESP Development Board 8266 for my LED projects.

I wanted to house the board its self along with wago connectors that I have all in one place looking neat and tidy.

Wagos are great, they help connect jump wires without the need to do soldering thus making it simple way to get a little LED project up and running.

The lid of the box has been specifically designed for the ESP8266 board in mind, the reset and flash buttons press nicely whilst still being a distance away to allow the air to flow.

I also made it possible to easily re-mix the lid for other boards where you can slice the clips off and or move them where you want (I will work on an ESP32 lid as a remix so keep an eye out for that)

  • The lid contains clips that are designed for my board; test it before printing by blocking out the other material
  • the base has a place holder for a standard 5v connector should you wish to use it
  • the base has 3 pins for pushing the wagos onto, 2x 3 way and 1x 2way, hopefully your wagos have these too

** Wagos, leads and ESP not included in the print file ;)

Happy Printing
