The file 'ESP32 FPV Rover 3D Printer Model' is (stl,FCStd,blend) file type, size is 2.4MB.
Beginning of 2021 I got interested in ESP32-CAM projects, using it to drive some FPV-Rover. I was close to copy one, when my ego kicked in and I wondered, if I cant design it all by myself.
My rover didnt have any special purpose and I tried to get fast results, so I kept the design simple, avoided to get lost in details and used a very modular design.
The (so far) final result is a fine working, simple, wifi driven rover. As its all pretty basic, I see a lot of educational potential and I hope it can be the base for other, more specialised vehicles. So Im going to pubish the printable STL files here, also the Blender file for the tracks and the whole design file from FREECAD. On github you will soon find the list off all electronical components and modules, the electronical layout and the code:
When started, the ESP32 inside the rover is connecting to the wifi and starting a webserver, delivering just one page. When you open it, you can watch the camera, adjust the stream settings and drive it with buttons or arrow keys. I added some support for touch driving for mobilephones, too.
For fast printing I used a 0.8mm nozzle, but 0.4mm should be fine too. All parts are printed in plain PLA, just the tracks are printed with of TPU.
