Summary

I'm using a ESP32-CAM as a simple front door camera integrated with Home Assistant. I've designed a simple case for attaching to glass windows, with the camera looking through the window. It only hinges in one direction. Mine is attached to the clear glass panel above my front door and looks down so we can see who is at the front door. The case has been designed for the ESP32-CAM AI Thinker board, with the USB shield, and the 21mm camera ribbon connector.

It requires 2 x 8mm M3 countersunk screws for holding the backing plate to the case and 2 x 20mm M3 countersunk screws to hold the case to the window mount.

The case has a hole for the USB plug and a hole to give access to the MicroSD card slot. I didn't include a hole for the LED light, as the LED is nowhere near powerful enough to be useful at night.

This case is NOT waterproof and is for indoor use only.

You can use double sided tape to hold the camera mount to the window. I've also had good success with Blu-Tac :)
