Simple stand to hold my MacBook Pro at eye-level when used for extended Making / Programming sessions. (I do my best work outside)
The stand was a sketching skill improvement experience for me, the goal was to make a compact stand that could be cut out with one pass/tool-path whereby the bit is often cutting both pieces at the same time. This saves material and CNC time.

Mainbody is cut from 3/4" stock (Bamboo in my case). The shape is designed to achieve functional goal of raising MacBook (ok any laptop) height to eye level while also providing stability for occasional direct keyboard use (as in a kitchen / standing situation) as well as manufacturing optimization to reduce wasted wood.
Cross brace is secured with wood screw and small washer. and cut from same 3/4" stock.
