The Drillpro dowel jig is great, but it only has metric inserts and I'm based in the US. Most of my measurement tools are imperial, I have imperial dowels and drill bits, so I wanted some imperial inserts.
There are inserts for 1/4, 5/16, and 3/8 dowel sizes. The insert holder fits the Drillpro jig perfectly. All original hardware fits into the holder, so you can reuse the grub screws and mounting screws.
Printing the holder is entirely optional as all of the inserts fit the original metal holders and work with the existing layout. There is a dot on the top of the holder just to help orient for adding in the inserts. I did not bother heating the screws to create threads, I just threaded into the material directly and it worked out for me.
