Learn about how an engine works! this is a great model for teaching and learning about internal combustion engines. this shows how the cam shaft and valves work together to make an engine work!
I made this in blender in a couple of nights. printed out on my Printrbot Simple 2014 at 200 microns, higher resolution shouldn't be necessary but will make it look better. You are definitely going to want to size up the models. The bigger the better, as it will keep the belt from slipping. Video here: http://youtu.be/M5DFJAOnOy0

Edit 4/13/14 23:33 EST: Engine-pushrodbrackbott.stl has been replaced with Engine-pushrodbrackbott_001.stl because it got messed up at export and was just a cube. lol i hate computers. >:-(

Edit 4/14/14 10:39 EST: I added an stl that will allow you to print the entire thing in one run on a replicator 2, 2x, 5th gen, Z18.
