Ender5 top mount spool holder v2 features a modular design with attachment holes where you can optionally print and choose to attach either:

• Open filament guide
• Closed loop guide
• Filament run-out guide

To add the desired attachment, press the tab end into the hole on top of the holder first then press down to clip the bottom tab in.

The top mount spool holder is designed specifically to minimise desk space and also minimise filament travel distance. In my case the Ender 5 sits on the right side of my computer desk and the standard spool mount takes up quite a bit of space to the right of the Ender 5 frame. This spool holder sits a lot higher and out of the way but is still convenient to reach specifically if you have a small desktop footprint. I also run the LCD screen relocate mod by thongg to bring the screen inside the Ender frame https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3936378

Filament runout adapter requires 1 x M3 8mm OR 1 x M3 12mm and nut. Recommend bending slight curve downwards on end of microswitch trigger.
