Felt my Z Axis motor was getting a bit warm on my ender 3 after upgrading to a belt driven system so I wanted to add a fan to it. (recommend printing in PETG)
Main pro of this remix is that the air gets blown past the motor to the side cooling the whole unit since the 50mm fan is bigger then the motor unlike the 40mm fan.
I personally just used an Aliexpress 50mm fan running on 3.3v of a raspberry pi zero very quite (less noise then an ender 3 stock fan at least) and very cool
50mm fan that I use: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805267017091.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.4d7b9hmZ9hmZtL&mp=1&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa
