Summary

This is a file for a vinyl plotter blade holder that attaches where a BL Touch module would go on the Ender 3 V2. It can be used to cut out small stickers on your Ender 3 V2 print bed, essentially turning it into a vinyl plotter. Has two hooks on the left side for slightly varying pressure of the rubber band which holds tension on the plotter blade.

Things you need -

  • A small rubber band approx. 20mm in diameter for good tension
  • 2x M2 Screws to fix to hot end backplate approx. 6mm long

The screws will ideally have shallow heads on them otherwise the right one will interfere with sliding the plotter blade in and out of the holder. I just ground the head down on mine so it would fit because I'm lazy.

There's a photo showing the plotter blade that this was designed for, find it on ebay by searching "Gold Blade Holder" if/when the provided link goes dead. I got one with 5 blades included for ~$10. It is also on banggood.com.

I printed in PETG but should work with PLA and ABS too. Best orientation for both parts to be printed and what supports it needs is shown in photo (supports "everywhere" in Cura.) Snap the supports off and knock the hole support out with a punch (only goes one way) and you're done. 20% infill works good.
