I needed a top headlight for my Ender 3 V2 3d printer, so I designed a halo lowpoly style 10 mm led strip holder.
I made the connections modular so I can add a box for the electronics and the switch in the future.
You will need to print 4x halo_connect part and 2x halo_led_strip_holder_10mm if you want a full halo, but it is possible using only the half halo, just front or back lightning.
Pre fold the led strip from its cut section before inserting it in, so it can fit the angle of the holder. See the uploaded images, It's a tight fit and kinda hard to insert the strip but you won't need any glue or adhesive this way..
UPDATE 01.30.2023
added a new connect part v3 for the 'cutting out the tab' suggestion, hope this solves some of the cable management issues..
UPDATE 10.24.2022
added a simplified switch part https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5582542 and a new connect part v2 for wider holes
UPDATE 17.12.2021
I uploaded a wider gap version holder for those who are having hard time for inserting some hard to bend type led strips.
You might need to use glue with this wider gap one, be warned (:
