Update
- I have tested and finishing touches have been done this is now fully working 4 x m318 screws required to hold all together and 4 x m38 screws to hold rpi down(see bottom of page for link to buy the screw set). i have also added 2 gcodes ready to print for pla if your not sure the settings(Note these are set with bltouch autoleveling)
- I have added new files for the updated version its currently untested so if your feeling brave you can go for it I currently have a lot of prints lined up but when there's space I will print it but all looks ok. If you do print the updated version with (untested) and it all goes well could you upload your make or post in the comments to help out thanks :) hope you like it.
- There is now an adjusted screen size for a better finishing look,
- different handle fixed,
- more ventilation and looks nicer,
- access from the bottom now which is held on by the top screws so you can just prop the machine up if you need to adjust anything,
- bigger cable hole with cable tie holes for securing cables,
- i have made a cut out if you intent on using a ribbon at the front and side for a camera
- i suggest printing on its back vents with tree supports.
18/03/2021 - Update new files listed as v4, it has had some changes to strengthen up the right side to avoid it breaking by moving the display over a bit more central, its adjusted so it will sit flush with the bottom of the machine and flush with the side rail, the pi fittings have been moved so the pi now sits sideways to allow more room for the usb's and also for the power cable to have plenty of room, also the pi micro SD card is now accessible from the outside without taking anything apart. i have lined everything up ready for printing so you wont have to adjust, just add supports from baseplate on the lid and bottom and add raft for the lid.
- Updated new files listed as v2, v1 needed some tweaks to allow the pi to fit below the lid, i also changed the front air vent to allow for a easier print and also the power cord of the pi to be positioned out of the way of the display wiring i will upload some wiring diagrams in the next update to show the best way to clip in while still being able to pull out the drawer please feel free to message me any of your ideas of holding the wiring also :). happy printing. 27/09/2020
