This is my upgrade project for Ender 3 v2 3d printer.
It makes possible to convert your filament eater to a laser cutter/engraver on-the-fly!
Just drop in a laser module, plug in its connector and you're up and BURNING!!
Also the project offers a popular direct drive conversion requiring NO external parts.
Sorry, that sounds too good to be true. Of course you'll need some wiring and soldering skills to extend extruder stepper's wires (I've heard they are selling somewhere) and fetch some power to feed your laser. It is a vast topic heavily depending on your hardware so I'll skip it.
You need to print these two (and a half) parts:
direct__laser_assy.STL - this is the main piece carrying the extruder, stepper and laser module. Unlike other projects the extruder is right-sided. Actually you could print this part only and enjoy your new direct drive without any jedi pew pew. You don't need supports if you place the part as shown on the second photo.

My laser setup is still in progress. I'm waiting for 24/12v buck converter to arrive.
I'm adding source files. Feel free to modify.
