The file 'Ender 3 V2 Direct Drive – Voron M4 Extruder 3D Printer Model' is (stl, step) file type, size is 4.8 MB.
The Voron M4 Extruder for Ender3 V2 in direct drive configuration.
I could, so i did.... I hope you enjoy.
Mirrored the original Voron M4, modified the endplate and made a custom gantry plate for the E3V2. Also modified the Midsection to accomodate a PC4-M10 fitting instead of the original Voron Fitting.
This design allows you to install the gantry bracket one time, and then if you need to remove your extruder you simply undo the 6 Allen head screws (4 front, 2 back) and the entire extruder come off for servicing with out having to dismantle it or having to remove your guide wheel screws again.
Black Parts are PETG, Blue parts are Overture PLA+ Digital Blue.
Sourcing parts can be found on Vorons website, the only thing extra youll need is 6 x M3x10mm Bolts and a PC4-M10 Hose fitting.
Youll need to set your steps through Gcode. My calibration came out to 565 Steps/mm, a good starting point is 560
Stepper Motor Direction Reversal:
Because this is mirrorerd youll need to reverse the direction of your stepper motor. I chose to pull out the pins from the connector on the cable at the stepper motor side. If your doing this upgrade you will need a stepper motor extension cable. Verify Pin Outs and research how to reverse the direction. Do your homework so you dont smoke your board. Im not listing my pin-outs here because they may be different then yours.
I have included the STEP file incase you need to adjust hole sizes for your printer settings or different parts you may source for this.
