This is Still Undergoing project, it should be working till i finalize it
This is a cooling duct to cool prints for high speed Klipper Ender 3 and Ender 3 V2 printers, due to currently working on improving print quality i sometime face under cooling, so i decided to create this design to help improve cooling.
-Supports will be needed in areas outside the Duct ONLY.
Print list:
- 1 x duct.
- 1 x Right bracket.
- 1 x Left bracket.
Parts list:
- 4 x cooling fan 40x40x20 - 24 volts OR 40x40x10 fans will work too.
- 16 x M3*25mm screws for 40x20 fans OR M3x15mm for 40x10 fans.
- 2 x M3*25mm to connect duct with brackets.
- 2 x M3 hex nuts to secure the duct bolts with brackets.
- 2 x M3*12mm for brackets.
- 2 x M3 T nuts inserts to connect with the x axis bar.
Assembly process:
- you have to remove the extruder stepper motor to make clearance for the screwdriver to tighten the bolts.
- install the 4 cooling fans.
- install the M3 hex nuts inside the brackets.
- install the right bracket and tighten the T nut, then attach one side of the duct but keep the duct loose for the meantime.
- install the LEFT bracket and tighten the T nut, with the regards of the proper distance for the duct hole.
- now you can fit and tighten the duct to the brackets.
Notes:
- have not tested proper duct height yet, that's why i made the brackets so i can modify later.
- have not tested the efficiency of it but i know that 4 pieces of 40mm fans will push good air.
- the electrical connection has to be DIYed there is a connector hubs sold on the internet, but couldn't find any 2 pin hubs.
the electrical DIY is at your own risk
