The file 'Ender-3 “Trash” Tray (“Trash May Actually Mean “Basic Tools”) 3D Printer Model' is (scad, stl) file type, size is 30.1KB.
I've recently gone through a process of upgrading one of my Ender-3 printers to a linear rail kit, a Volcano high flow, ceramic cartridge hotend (compatible with my volcano and E3D V6 ghetto X truck mods ) and an MKS Mini E3 control board. As the parts arrived, I realised that the E3 units have this trashy housing for the controller, with no easy access to the top of the board. So a quick google about found this Thing - the Ender 3 Upright Mainboard Case. I used up the near last of an exceedingly old roll of blue and printed one.
Now I need something that "matches" it (won't be the same colour) to chuck my basic tools in. The surface around my printer is a mess of hex keys, screw drivers, side cutters... you know. All the trays to do this a complex drawer prints and I just want a quick-and-dirty wall around the basic bits and pieces. Anything more advanced in terms of tools are kept at my workbench because, if I need those tools, the printer is on the work bench getting a workup.
So I designed this. End of story. I'll update this entry when the print is done in the next few days.
