Summary

(Note: This IS a remix, but for some reason I can't select the originals while uploading. See attributions below)

I liked Ryroo211's guide + runout sensor, but preferred 3djpco's runout sensor w/ bearing + ptfe tube.

I modified Ryroo211's mount to remove some material, and stuck 3djpco's sensor body on top. It is not a modular print, you'll need supports.

I left the tabs on the sensor body in-place due to laziness. The rear one is handy for cable ties. The front one is unfortunately too close to the Z-axis roller to be used as a tie down, though there is no clearance issue on my Ender 3 V2.

This re-uses the original Z-axis limit switch, which is an extra part if you've installed a BLTouch (or similar ABL).

Also included:

  • FreeCAD source of the mashup

  • The sensor ptfe holder, unmodified from 3djpco.

  • The roller and spacers, unmodified from Holspeed.

I recommend reading through the notes on each of the original sources -- particularly 3djpco's runout sensor, where the details of wiring and setup are documented.
