This is a modified version of the original fan shroud on the Ender 3 and Ender 3 pro to fit 40x40x20mm fans.
The original fan on the Ender 3 pro did not last for very long, so I was looking for a more quiet and comparable powerfull replacement that runs on 24v like the stock fan.
Most of the 40x40x10mm 24v fans are really loud and/or do not supply enough airflow.
However 40x40x20mm fans are available in 24v with sufficient airflow and lower noise (for example Sunon EB40202S2-999). Also the bigger bearings should manage the harsh vibration environment on a hotend much better.
