I grew tired of the knobs wearing out and failing to be able to feed filament and becoming little more than an ornament and an indicator the extruder was feeding so I designed this extruder feed knob to interface with a spare extruder gear so it actually locks onto the extruder drive gear rod with set screws. Everyone has spare extruder gears so, there you go.
Printed in PLA, .16 layer height. I applied a few drops of super glue to the inside of the grooved hole then pressed the extruder gear into the knob and a few seconds later it is now a rock solid extruder knob that will never wear out.
