Welcome all to the Ender 3 Pro Direct Drive Harness Holder 2.0. The first version (Ender 3 Pro Direct Drive Harness Holder) worked quite well until I upgraded to my sonic pad and thus my print speeds are much faster. The increase in speed caused the harness to pop out on occasion during prints. The prints were not affected but I figured there was a better solution.
This version is the same as the original except it houses a skateboard bearing at the end. Pending your settings it may be anywhere form a tight to a loose fit. I found a few drops of CA glue hold the bearing in just fine then flip it over to glue the axel on the small piece to the center of the bearing.
This version allows the harness to shift left and right just enough when printing fast so the harness does not pop out. As the hot end is whipping left to right the bearing allows the stress that would normally be on the stationary holder to bend back and forth.
