This hot end shroud will allow you to change the stock fan to a 60mm noctua fan on the ender 3 max neo. Doing this upgrade made my printer significantly more quiet, especially after changing the motherboard and power supply fans.
Important notes:
-Print this in a heat resistant filament, especially if you're planning on putting your printer in an enclosure. I was able to run the printer fine with this shroud printed in PLA in open air, but after throwing the printer in an enclosure the PLA started warping. I now have it printed in ABS and have printed 500+ hours inside the enclosure without any warping.
-You'll need to heat press an M3x6x5mm threaded insert to the hole in the back so you can use the OEM screw to hold the shroud to the hot end assembly. Use a soldering iron for this its pretty easy.
-You'll need a buck converter somewhere in order to power the noctua fan properly. I also added the connector to the fan up at the hot end assembly so I can disconnect it and detach the whole thing whenever I need, rather than soldering the fan wires.
