I needed more space for Pin 27 board from my BLtouch 3Dtouch clone. Original Ender 3 mainboard cover didn't fit because of fan placement. I still wanted to keep original metal part so I edited zb3k's file and kept only outer walls.
You will need longer screws obviously.
