Note: Rotate the object so that the fan would point up. Print the main part with touching bed supports.

Initially I wanted to put the NOCTUA NF-A4X20 FLX Cooler inside the metal case, but it looks that it gets to close to the hotend so I decided to redesign a little bit the original cap so that the cooler fits outside of it. This system still uses the stock blower.

I also adapted the blower duct to fit with with the Ender3 Hotend Cable Strain Relief

I recommend printing with PET-G or ABS since is pretty close to the extruder.

Also, be sure to mount the cooler with the label faced to the hotend so that it will blow the air on the extruder.

Notes:

  • This cooler runs at 12 volt. You will need to regulate the voltage from 24 to 12 volt by using an LM-2596 module.
  • The system doesn't require nuts (although you can use them), therefore is recommended to make the fillets before mounting (fit the bolts and remove them once)
