I added a direct drive to my Ender 3 pro and it does't seem to need a filament guide until the last little bit of the roll of filament. Then it seems to unroll too quickly and I get a bit of filament bouncing around between the roll and the print head. So I made this filament guide as simple as I could.
I've been using it for a year and I'm happy with it.
You print it as the picture shows, on it's side. So that the layers are up and down the clip-on feet and not across them.
I used 100% infill to make it strong.
The basis for the clip on part is from the 'led strip mount clip' from the thing that i 'remixed' by Flurin
Enjoy!
