Ellpitical D2 Die - 15mm x 15mm x 8mm
Colouring the number holes is pretty simple; anything from sharpie to spray paint works, then a light sanding to remove any spillage, and you're good to go :)
I assume this design has been done before, I just didn't bother to look before making it. I've personally not seen a D2 like this but it's essentially just a fat plastic coin lol.
Print standing up with supports to improve the look of the number holes, as shown.
Yet again a print with absurd infill. I went for 100% again just to make the die that little bit heavier (added 1g (double), and 1 min print time (vs. 15% infill), realistically not much difference but I'll take what I can get.)
Had the resolution at 0.1, just as it's a small print and I wanted it to come out as nice as possible.
As always, I checked "no" for rafts on this design, but I always print with a very wide brim. Personally this is a good habit to get in to, as wasting a bit of plastic on a wider brim is much less time and plastic expensive if it saves a print from warping or having adhesion issues. For me this print, at least for me, it's especially important as there is very little of the item actually touching the build plate due to the orientation I've chosen for the aesthetics.
