I had an old EleksLaser at home, after I repaired and improved it with carriage tensioners (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3422982) and a cable chain (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2765001), I thought I am going to build a draw module with the stuff I had at home.
So I present the probably cheapest version of a draw module for the EleksLaser! ;-)
2x M6x100 shaft screws
1x mounting plate
1x 3 piece sled (the bottom has a smaller bore which fit nice for the M6 thread)
1x 20mm spring (two were too much)
1x Pen holder of your own choice. I used this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:261162 from EGoe
1x Analog Micro Servo (I used an Reely S-0009 MG)
LaserGRBL should send the pen lift signal to the servo output without any further settings.
(You may have to disable the "LaserMode")
https://lasergrbl.com/
Tipp: Check your servo function with the commands
M3 .. servo on
S300 or S500 .. Servo positioning
M5 .. servo off
Have fun!
The Audi in the pictures is about 40mm wide.Could have cleaned up the picture a little more...
