The file 'EleksMaker A3 Pro – Cable Support For Laser Carriage 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 110.4KB.
This is my first modification for the EleksMaker A3 Pro. I know there are already some cable supports on Thingiverse, but most of them I find clunky. On the other hand, I simply like to do things myself.
So this cable support is easy to print, easy to mount but provides all the strength to hold the cables in place. Furthermore, you can secure the cables with a zip tie and remove them without having to disassemble the construction.
Without this cable support, all the work of holding the cables above the work area is provided by the cable connecting to the laser module. This puts a lot of stress on the little connector and could damage this part in a short term.
Now you can unplug your laser module for e. g. maintenance purposes (like movement testing) without having loose cables hanging into your work area.
