I created this utensil holder to solve a pet peeve I've had for some time; where to put a used spoon/fork for re-use without causing a mess. Other utensil holders I've found minimize the mess, but get messy themselves in the process. This utensil holder holds the spoon/fork without coming into contact with the business end of the utensil. This keeps the utensil holder clean. Additionally, this utensil holder can hold a drippy utensil over the sink.
The rear piece can be oriented and affixed with glue having the opening on the left or right. The rear piece insert post is designed to be 0.200mm smaller in both length and width to allow for easier insertion into the base and accommodate an undersized hole printed on the base.
