The file 'Elastic Cord Stopper For Mask 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 3.5KB.

Summary

I designed and printed this to replace some of the cord stoppers that come on some of the cloth masks you can purchase online. I saw that they are available for purchase online but why purchase them when I can just design and print some myself, so that is what I did.

I printed in TPU for the best performance. Otherwise you may need to scale up just a tiny bit to get the cord through, either way you need to use something pointed and small to push the cord through the wide portion and then through the narrow end.

My masks were the ones that have the slot for the pm2.5 filters and the breathing valve. The elastic strap on these are flat, feel free to try these though on round elastic and let me know how it works.

I printed in TPU without supports, narrow opening facing up.
I printed with a skirt because my adhesion was good. If you need to print with a brim, just be aware you will have to cut the brim off as TPU is very good at sticking together.

I would print one at normal size first as downloaded and then see how it fits and then adjust the print size to your liking and print as many at a time as possible to hand out and give to people.

Tips are appreciated and will be used to purchase more tpu to help with this situation we are in
