Recently, both 18V NiCd batteries for my Einhell/Bavaria BAS 18 drill stopped working, despite the drill itself being in good condition for its age. Since I also own tools from the new Einhell PowerX Change Series (also 18V), I created an adapter based on the Adapter Einhell Power X-Change by bastelator.
Unfortunately, the existing Parkside x20 / PowerX to EINHELL 18v nicd adapter from GLoL didn't fit because my drill has a slightly different shape for the original battery packs (flat surface instead of an elevated surface). Please compare your machine to the images I and GLoL posted.
Design:
The upper part was created from scratch, while the lower part was a remix of the Adapter Einhell Power X-Change by bastelator. It is not meant to be removed after plugging it into the drill. Since the handle of my drill is broken, I can easily remove it.
The connection to the drill is a simple single-sided copper PCB (leftover) with two M3 threads. One PCB is fixed on each side, requiring a total of four M3 countersunk screws (approximately 6 mm in length). The connection to the PowerX battery is achieved by two flat connectors (width: 6mm). Both parts are secured together with four M6 countersunk screws (16 mm in length) and four hex head nuts.
