I kneaded an egg holder for camping. A strong shell that could be laid vertically and nest next to the bottles and stove in my pack. So I whipped these up. The hatch prints in place, and you can stick a rubber band round each container if you're afried about the latch breaking. You can even stack two of these together, so you don't have to feel chicken about keeping all of your eggs in the same basket!
You can print the holder fairly hollow. Print the stacker with at least a medium amount of infill. Cut up some foam or paper egg crates and insert one in each cup, top and bottom. You want them to fit snug, like in my pictures. These are designed to securely hold large and normal sized chicken eggs. Small eggs will rattle around a bit. If you scale these down to fit quail eggs, the latch may become brittle.
I hope you find these eggstremely useful!
