This is a remix of dede67's very fine customizable egg holder. Unfortunately our fridge's egg compartment doesn't provide the depth that would be necessary without the ability to shrink the space between the two eggs, so this remix adds that. I also added some commentary to the OpenSCAD file, which might help folks looking to make other changes to it.
The original features are all still there:
The original Thing had a comment on it suggesting to put some tolerances onto the dovetails. My experience with them has been that, even on a not-perfectly-calibrated printer, they work fine.
My version's parameters are pre-set to a much lower height than dede67's and will fit many of the 1- or 2-person fridges commonly present in German households. As a side effect, the eggs can be taken out by just grabbing and lifting them; no need to push from underneath. But, the warning given by dede67 still applies: for a secure stand, at least two holders should be connected to each other.
The Cura .3mf file already has 3 holders placed together with the dovetails connected. Make two of these and you'll have enough space to hold the contents of a standard 12-pack.
