The file 'Egg Bot 3D Printer Model' is (SLDPRT,STL) file type, size is 2.1MB.
This my version of the Classic sphere bot. I made it this way to minimize the assembly time after printing and to easily adjust the machine for larger and smaller objects.
It uses 8m skate bearings and an 8mm rod for the spring assembly. I put some silicon sponge for the gripping surface on the eggs.
I got the controller board from the evil mad scientist website and the stepper motors on eBay from stepper online. They are nema 17 motors. Bike seat post clamps work great for the slide lockers.
This isn’t exactly all the way finished but it definitely works like it is! I will upload the cad files as well so anyone who needs to make modifications for printing things as parts are more than welcome to. Just trying to share this fun project with everyone!
