This is a battery mount designed for the Eflite Umx turbo timber evolution. I didnt like the foam and velcro battery mount design so I decdied to design my own. This battery mount is designed to fit Spektrum 2s and 3s 300mah lipo batteries but may fit others. I had designed the mount to use a rubber band to be pulled over the battery but found it easier to simply wedge the battery under the rubber band and into the mount every time.
Weight was definitly my main concern when designing so I tried to shave down the part as much as possible and found that 25% infill seems to offer a good amount of stregth while reducing the weight as much as possible.
To install you will need to peel up the foam battery plate and replace it with this part, I used a little foam safe ca glue to mount it and it is holding up awesome.

Just a little word of caution however, dont leave the plane in a hot car or direct sunlight with the rubber band attached as it will pull the tabs in.
