designed a clip to use with standard Ag-AgCl sticky gel electrodes ( http://bio-medical.com/products/covidien-kendall-disposable-surface-emg-ecg-ekg-electrodes-1-24mm-50pkg.html ). These can be used multiple times if you clean the gel with water from time to time and they give a good signal.
If they are held in place by a clip, there will be no trouble with stickyness. The clip is designed to hold 12mm diameter snap buttons, which the electrodes get attached to.
An M3 16mm bolt can be used as an axis.
