Hello all!

Here is my Easy-to-Print, Easy-to-Mount, and Easy-to-Refill paper towel holder.

This design is meant to be hung from a wall using "3M Medium Command Strips" (though it may work with other sizes), available here:

Each side can be printed as a single piece and the hinge should work right off the print bed. The tolerances are pretty forgiving but I've included a test hinge that I encourage you to try first.

Notes: This print will only work if attached to a vertical surface (wall) and will not work in any other orientation without modification of the design. See the pictures if you need further guidance.

Additional Details:

This design came about as I was looking for a way to get a roll of paper towels off my desk, but didn't see anything exactly how I wanted.

Specifically, I was looking for a few features:

1. I wanted it to Include the fold down hook design for easy replacement/refill. This comes from a toilet paper holder design I saw on the internet somewhere which I thought was super neat.

2. It needs to be easy to print. I didn't want to assemble anything or have to deal with supports. That's a lot of work.

3. It needs to not look terrible. I aimed to hang this in plain sight on my wall, and as such didn't want that cheap injection molded plastic look. i could have just gone to the store and picked one up for a dollar if that was the case.

4. Finally, I didn't want to mount it with screws. There are various reasons for this (like not wanting to put holes in my wall), but was mostly out of pure curiosity if it would work. I had some spare 3M command strips left over that were just asking to be used - so i figured i'd give it a try. Long story short: It works!
