The file 'E30 OBC 3.5″ TouchScreen Retrofit Bracket 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 15.5KB.
Depending on your printer, settings, accuracy, and due to slight variances of the 30+ year old mass-produced German plastics as well as mass-produced Chinese screens, this may or may not require some tweaking to fit to your exact components. I made it to be a snug fit. You will need to work the bezel and screen into place a little. This allows for a nice fit with no gaps. I did zero finish work, no sanding, no scraping, and was able to get it all installed nicely.
Designed for use in 1984-1991 BMW 3-series cars to replace the analog clock, 6 and 13 button OBC with a screen programmed for whatever use by your Raspberry Pi (if it fits other models/generations, I wouldn't know for sure. It replaces the OBC, so whatever that fits, this fits). I left enough room for a full size HDMI cable on the brace if running a Pi3. You will need to source a slim 90 degree USB-C cable and I suggest utilizing the included (with purchase of screen) 180 degree HDMI adapters with an extender cable to connect to RPi, or buy a slim 90/180 degree HDMI cable.
The screen buttons wont be accessible after install, but you really dont need them. By default the unit is set up with the best visual appearance and turns on/off automatically with USB power.
The screen is a Waveshare 3.5" IPS 640x480 touchscreen display with a SpotPear RPi HDMI board glued to the back of it. Can be found on Aliexpress as a package designed to have a Pi screwed to the back of it, or remote installed as in this case. (Item number is 3256804319765134, just search that in Aliexpress. Listed as "Raspberry Pi 3.5inch touch screen 3.5 inch display IPS 640×480 Capacitive touchscreen compatible with HDMI")
