My government really wanted an air purifier - I'm rather sceptical, but if the government demands it then it will be delivered 8-)
So I bought a Beurer LR 310 air purifier from a wholesaler - and there it is, blowing away - everyone has to decide for themselves what the purpose of such devices is.
Now my government approached me and asked if I could design a dust cover for when the appliance is not in use. If it's just standing there, dust can fall in from above - when it's switched on it would be spread around the room again - and she doesn't want to put a bag or towel on it every time.
OK, I briefly took the measurements and realised that the top is relatively round at the edges - it's not made easy. So I quickly developed something straight that can be moved to the other side when not in use - this also ensures that the object can be stored safely.
My government is satisfied, so am I...

Printing time approx. 2 hours with 10% infill, cheap PLA is enough.

Meine Regierung wollte unbedingt einen Luftreiniger haben - ich bin ja eher Skeptisch, aber wenn die Regierung das fordert dann wird auch geliefert 8-)
Also habe ich einen Beurer LR 310 Luftreiniger über den Großhandel geholt - und da steht er nun und pustet vor sich hin - den Sinn und Zweck solcher Geräte muss jeder für sich selbst finden.
Jetzt kam meine Regierung auf mich zu und fragte ob ich nicht was als Staubschutzdeckel entwerfen könnte wenn das Gerät mal nicht an ist. Wenn es nur rumsteht kann von oben dort Staub reinfallen - beim anstellen würde der ja wieder im Raum verteilt werden - und sie hat keine Lust da jedesmal eine Tüte oder ein Handtuch drauf zu legen.
OK, kurz die Maße genommen und festgestellt das das Oberteil relativ Rund an den Kanten ist - es wird einem auch nicht leicht gemacht. Also kurz was gerades entwickelt was man bei nicht gebrauch auf die andere Seiten umsetzen kann - so ist auch die Lagerung des Objektes gesichert.
Meine Regierung ist zufrieden, ich bin es auch...

Druckzeit ca 2 Stunden bei 10% Infill, billiges PLA reicht.
