Summary

This is a replacement for the landing gear mount for the Durafly Tundra. It uses captured nuts glued into the part, and M3 machine screws instead of those silly self-tapping ones the Tundra comes with. The fit of this part down the sides of the fuselage is not great - but this part is so complex that I was sick of doing print tests. It's good enough for me.

You will need to remove foam in a few areas from under the old part for this to fit - just press this part into place and then see where the foam is being squashed. You will need M3x10, M3x15 and M3 nuts to complete.

I printed this in PETG, buttom surface up (the way you see it in the photo). The print was 60% supports but I think that's the strongest way to print it.

To remove the old part cleanly
Just soak it in all the cracks with WD40. I discovered by accident that WD40 dissolves all the glue that HK used on this. I had to do 2-3 applications of WD40 for this part to come out without much damage.

Please check out my other things for the tail wheel mount and rear float mount.
