This is a housing for male inline 2-row Dupont connectors (aka 0.1" / 2.54mm pin headers).
It is intended to hold and protect the male side and provide keying to avoid connection in the flipped orientation. There are 2 parts; the housing that slides over male plug, and key is glued to the side of the female connector to make reverse connection impossible.
I created these for connecting model aircraft wings and FPV systems, it provides an easy way to combine multiple servo connections and other signal wires into a single keyed connector for quick disassembly for transport.
